Mary Carter had a difficult childhood, to say the least. As a small child, she watched her mother burn to death. Her father was a very angry man, and a few years later he ran her off with a gun. She ended up in juvenile hall and then a foster home. She had become a Christian as a young girl, and had the privilege of marrying a young pastor who was totally committed to Christ and devoted to his family. This book tells the story of how our faithful God worked in her life to make her the woman she is today.
