In the Spring of 2017, Ben M. Jones and Hannah Rice were set to be studying theatre abroad in London. While many of their classmates jumped in planes and flew the entire way there, Ben and Hannah had different ideas; they got on a couple of long-haul Amtrak trains and travelled the width of the United States by train, before taking one last pitstop in Lisbon, Portugal, on their way to London. The trip would end up taking eight days, with three nights spent on trains, one night spent on a plane, and four nights spent on four different kinds of lodging (a hostel, a motel, a hotel, and a Bed & Breakfast).
