Budva is a coastal tourist resort in Montenegro and is often called the "Montenegrin Miami" because it is the most popular tourist resort in Montenegro, with its charming beaches and vibrant nightlife.

Budva is on the central part of the Montenegrin coast, which is called the "Budvanska Rivijera". It has developed around a small peninsula, on which the old town is situated. It is the most visited destination in Montenegro, attracting mostly domestic, Russian, Serbian and other Eastern European tourists with its old town, bars and nightclubs, and beaches. It is often used as a base for mass tourism as there are luxury resorts nearby including Sveti Stefan and Miločer.
