This is a strategic plan for accelerating the development and growth of an integrated bioenergy/bioproducts industry and, in the process to enhance the development of food, wood, chemical, fuel, and poer products and processes derived from biomass feedstocks. This plan was prepared for the U.S. Department of Energy, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and other federal agencies in response to the Biomass Research and Development Act of 2000 and to Executive Order 13134: "Developing and Promoting Biobased Products and Bioenergy"
