Cale Snowdon is a telepath and a clairvoyant although it did not help his family from encountering a serial killer who murdered all of them except him. He is found and taken alive to be used as the Major's personal fortune teller, kept in a house for two years before he is rescued by another psychic named Illusion. She saves him, helps him cope and falls in love. Cale's twin daughters are like him, and the Major is determined to add them to his collection.
