James Beresford was an antique dealer, his shop was in a small Suffolk English village he had taken over the 100 year old business from his father, that was first started by his grandfather.

Lord Theodor Gray had passed away, and Graylands Hall a large country estate had an antique's sale. James was met by Crystal the beautiful Granddaughter who had come from London, especially for the sale. She had shown him around the house.

Crystal then phoned saying that some 300 year old letters had been found, and was he interested in seeing them. The letters referred to a precious pearl, the mystery of the missing pearl, brought James into Crystal's high society life and the search took them from Suffolk to London and to the beautiful Caribbean Island of Barbados, it's sandy beaches and swaying palms, made their love grow stronger, until tragedy struck...
