Peter Francis Straub (born March 2, 1943) is an American novelist and poet. He has written numerous horror and supernatural fiction novels, including Julia and Ghost Story, as well as The Talisman, which he co-wrote with Stephen King. His other novels include; Koko, The Hellfire Club and Mr. X. His latest novel is Black House, the much-anticipated sequel to The Talisman, also written with Stephen King. He has won the British Fantasy Award, three Bram Stoker Awards and two World Fantasy Swards.
