All I wanted was to live with my son peacefully. The whole of United States' machinery, particularly the judicial branch, rose up against that very natural and legitimate desire. This is a story of a father, who has no crimes to his discredit, not even a driving ticket in his entire life wanting to be with his son. This is a story of the corruption and inhumanity in the US judiciary towards innocent children and parents, particularly fathers. I am a father who came to the US for a short visit with my son. A court ordered that my son cannot depart from the US while my wife was in India. I stayed back to fight this injustice. Now ICE is deporting me for overstaying of my visa. How the ICE forcefully deport a father and keep his son. This is kidnapping. How can I as a father leave my son and depart to India? This is just the tip of the iceberg. Like a whodunit story - the more I got into my battle of being able to return to my country with my son, the more I discovered how corrupt the US judicial system is. Earlier before returning to India, I stayed in the US for about 15 years. At that point, I had a very high opinion about the US. I still have that opinion. There are some very good things about this country. However, now I see that US has a dark side hidden from the eyes of the world - Very darrrrk side..... I invite you for a roller coaster ride through this book to explore the underbelly of the US as I dishabille that dark side.I present my case as an example of the lawlessness in the United States. This lawlessness has changed this land of the free and home of the brave to the land of mass shooters and home of drug addicts. Less
