                                                An aging spinster has her head turned by a charismatic opportunist and is initially bowled over, but misgivings soon set in. One night she finds herself lost in the cold, wet fog alone with him and through the help of a blind girl makes her escape.
She ends up convalescing at a farm called Tetherstones, located near some old druid stones, a scene of a past tragedy and home to family secrets.
