This is the sequel to "A Quiet Neighborhood."
A birthday horseback ride brings pain and tragedy to Connie Walton, daughter of Harry and Ethelwyn Walton. To help Connie recover from her crippling injury, Harry takes his family to a parish in Kilkhaven, a town on the northern seacoast of Cornwall. There, near the mystic ruins of Tintagel Castle and King Arthur's Seat, the people of the parish become Harry's people, and Connie learns to deal with both her enduring pain and the young doctor who gives her more than his ordinary care.
