Namibia on Two Wheels tells the stories of fifteen Namibians and how their lives have been affected by the world''s greatest invention: the bicycle. From a reluctant civil war mercenary to HIV/AIDS support volunteers, each story explores the details of the individuals'' lives, and follows up five years later. The stories demonstrate the sustainability of the programmes of a local organisation, the Bicycling Empowerment Network Namibia, which has delivered more than 40,000 bicycles in the country through a network of sustainable enterprises. Proceeds support this innovative organisation.
