Three years after failing to bring Jack the Ripper to proper justice, Captain Hughes discovers an old copy of Charles Dickens' Mystery of Edwin Drood amongst his father's possessions. What Hughes soon discovers is that the mystery distinctly resembles an actual case east of London.
