We're headed inta cannibal country agin. The Jaguar People was said to be the worst cannibals on earth and we had to go through their territory to get to where we was goin. They was guardians of Paititi and had never let anyone get even close to where it was supposed to be. Before we could get to the Jaguar People we had to fight our way through other hostile savages determined to do us in. They caught us on the rivers we was travelin. It was took everthin we could think of, includin our powers to get past them. Before we left to join up with Dr. Jack Crawford and his team we ran across a book written by the son of a feller named Webb Thomas. Thomas had made 6 attempts to find the same thing we was lookin fer. He disappeared never to be heard from agin. The accounts of his attempts was awful grisly and I did my best to let others l know what we was up against goin after the treasures this time.
