Volume I (24 articles) covers empirics of development, development in historical perspective, and underdevelopment (low-level traps and the big push, theories of growth, and poverty and inequality). Volume II (24 articles) covers resources (labor and human resources, capital accumulation, and the environment), and sectoral issues in development (agriculture and industry).
