Jake lives in the city with his mother Kate, his father Jack and his dog Arf. Reading, spelling and grammar are hard for Jake but he loves science and math and wants to be an astronaut. Jake is a young boy, full of fun and imagination who learns new things through personal experience. In his many adventures he feels love, pain, security, fear, pride, doubt, hunger and learns directions, colours, arithmetic, and science lessons.
