His razor-sharp claws were four inches long and his teeth could crush bone. The Indians regarded Old Mose as a supernatural animal. It took a hundred bullets to bring him down. 3) Scourge of Old Reelfoot: Old Reelfoot, a huge, powerful grizzly was a legend that ruled over his domain for more than two decades. His powerful jaw could snap a grown bull’s backbone with one crushing bite. It took ten large caliber bullets to bring him down, three of them in his head.
